Make a rosehip wreath
In autumn, you'll find many beautiful natural materials on a walk that are perfect for crafting. The many berries that glow on the bushes from autumn through the winter months are particularly beautiful, providing a wonderful splash of color in the garden. Berries also make a great, colorful wreath for the door or table! Now is the perfect time to make your own door wreath from berries like rose hips or hawthorn; after all, the berries are best used when they're not yet fully ripe.

The ingredients for a lush berry wreath:
Wreath blank or floral foam for wreaths
Berries such as rose hips, hawthorn, sea buckthorn or rowan berries
Gypsophila
garden shears
Here's how it's done:
Trim the stems with the berries to the desired length and simply insert them into the floral foam. For Styrofoam blanks, the stems of the berries and flowers can also be glued on with a hot glue gun, but then the individual branches cannot be repositioned.
When arranging, always start with the larger berries and blossoms and work your way down to the smaller ones. It's best to cut off individual berries each time, leaving only a short stem, which you then insert into the blank. To avoid any visible part of the blank, the berries should always be inserted as tightly as possible into the blank. Finally, distribute the gypsophila among the colorful berries as desired. If there are still small gaps, you can cover them with more berries. To hang the wreath, simply wrap a wide ribbon several times around the top of the wreath, tie a knot in the ribbon, and tie a loop.
Tip: If you want the rosehip wreath to be more loosely tied, use a straw wreath and wrap it with fleece ribbon, or form a few long branches into a ring and secure it with floral wire. Then, one at a time, tie small berry bunches to the wreath with wrapping wire. Trim any overly long ends with garden shears.
