Nutscene
Since 1922, the name "Nutscene" has stood for high-quality garden twine and accessories. This traditional Scottish company owned the patent for spools that unwound from the center. The yarns are still produced today using the same machines that were used when the factory first opened in Dundee. Today, the small team works in a small mill in the heart of Angus in Scotland. They strive to use only raw materials such as jute, wood, slate and terracotta that come from renewable and sustainable resources. The company name Nutscene is derived from the well-known "greentwist twine", the green garden twine. Due to its color, it is hardly visible when used to tie up plants (“It was not seen”, hence not seen = nutscene).
