The annual sea lavender 'Pink Pokers' has dense vertical flower spikes of many small pink blossoms. It's relatively uncomplicated and well-suited for flower beginners. It also makes an excellent dried flower. Details : Sowing indoors/greenhouse: February to April Sowing outdoors: From May to June Sowing depth: 1 cm Germination time: 7-14 days Height: 60 cm Planting distance: 45 cm Flowering time: June to October Location: Sunny Growing tips : Sow the seeds shallowly in moist, well-drained seed compost at 18-20ºC. After germination, transplant the seedlings into pots and plant them outdoors starting in May. After the last frost, you can also sow directly outdoors. Dead flowers should be removed regularly to encourage new blooms. Use : cut flower dried flower Cut flower : Sea lavender will last a relatively long time in a vase with regular water changes. To dry, cut off the blooming stems and place them upside down. Bag contents : approx. 200 seeds Store in a cool, dry place.
