The flowers of the coneflower 'Cherry Brandy' are deep burgundy red with a chocolate center. This annual is a magnificent, long-blooming summer flower that's ideal for cutting. The spent heads should be removed regularly to ensure abundant rebloom well into autumn. Bees and butterflies love the coneflower and swarm around it. Details : Sowing indoors/greenhouse: March Sowing outdoors: From April to June Sowing depth: 1 cm Germination time: 15-20 days Height: 60 cm Planting distance: 30 cm Flowering time: July to October Location: Sunny/partial shade Growing tips : The rough coneflower is a cool flower (cold germinator) and requires a cold stimulus. They require light to germinate (light germinators!) and should therefore only be lightly covered with soil. Keep slightly moist, but not too wet! After the last frosts from around mid-May, it is also possible to sow the seeds directly outdoors. Use : cut flower Cool Flower Insect magnet Cut flower : Due to its strong flower stems and robustness, the coneflower is very suitable for vase cutting. Bag contents : approx. 30 seeds Store in a cool, dry place.
