Material:
- 24 small boxes
- 24 small gifts
- patterned wrapping paper
- various decorative tapes
- 24 half walnut shells
- large branch (e.g. birch)
- Christmas decorations (e.g. clip-on birds)
- 2 candle clamp holders
- 2 tree candles
- Kitchen twine
- Newsprint
- white spray paint
- red marker pen
- Scissors
- hot glue
Crafting instructions:
Divide the gifts among the boxes and wrap them in gift wrap. Then it's time to decorate: Cover the packages with various decorative tapes and wrap them with kitchen twine – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – whichever you prefer. Leave the kitchen twine longer than necessary so you can tie it later and hang the packages from the branch.
Place the walnut shell halves, hollow side down, on the newspaper. Color them with spray paint and let them dry. Then, using the marker pen, write the numbers 1 to 24 on the shells and stick them on the packages.
To hang the branch, attach a piece of twine of the required length to the right and left sides of the branch and tie the loose end into a small loop. Hang the branch from a hook in the ceiling.
Attach the packages to the branch at different heights to give the whole thing a lively and vibrant look. Finally, decorate the branch as you wish, for example, with decorative birds and candles, as shown here. And then: Enjoy unwrapping!
