This crumble is not only easy to prepare but also a perfect dessert for any occasion—whether as a sweet end to a meal or as a cozy snack between meals. Apple slices for garnishing complete the perfect taste experience!

Ingredients
1 kg apples (e.g. Jonagold)
Juice of 1 lemon
125 g flour
250g ground hazelnuts
175 g soft butter
175 g sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
Apple slices for decoration
Here’s how to prepare it:
Wash, quarter, core, and slice the apples. Thinly slice two or three apples. Drizzle everything with lemon juice.
Knead the ground nuts, flour, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until crumbly.
Grease casserole dishes (one large or several small ones, depending on your preference) and arrange the apple pieces in them. Cover with the nut crumbles, then fan out the thin apple slices in the center.
Bake in the lower third of a preheated oven (150°C fan oven) for about 40 minutes, until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden brown. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
