Whether as a dessert, a light lunch, or a childhood memory on a plate: With this simple recipe, you're guaranteed to make this elderberry soup!

Ingredients
1 kg elderberries
1 liter of water
2 apples
1 lemon
130 g sugar
cornstarch
How to prepare
Remove any coarse stems from the berries and boil them in water for 5 minutes. Then strain, thoroughly filtering out the seeds. Peel the apples and cut them into pieces. Grate the lemon zest. Return the elderberry juice to the pot, add the sugar, lemon zest, and apple pieces. Let it boil for 10 minutes and thicken with a little cornstarch before serving. Serve with the apple pieces.
