Sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and high-quality gin create an aromatic drink that's perfect for cold winter evenings or as a gift from the kitchen. Discover how to easily make sloe gin yourself!

Ingredients for 1 1.5 l jar
500 g sloe berries
150 g sugar
3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
about 1 l gin
Here’s how to prepare it:
Sort the berries, wash them, and pat them dry. Place them in a large preserving jar along with the sugar, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
Fill with gin so that everything is covered and close tightly.
Let it steep in a warm, dark place for 8 to 10 weeks, shaking occasionally.
Then pour through a cloth or a fine sieve and fill the sloe gin into clean, hot-rinsed bottles.
